Le Domaine de L’Orangerie

This boutique hotel on La Digue features just 63 individual rooms and villas, all set in delightful tropical gardens. All have a Seychelles design with thatched roofs and each villa has been carefully designed to blend with its surrounds.

~Garden Villas sleep 2 adults and one child under 12 years; Villas de Charme are set further up the hillside with some having gorgeous sea views; more spacious Villas de Charme “Elegance” are located even higher up with spectacular views and also have an outdoor hot tub. Several Garden Suite Residences sleep up to 4 guests and feature a bedroom as well as a lounge area convertible to a separate sleeping area. Nestled at the top of the resort, a Presidential Villa offers 3 ensuite bedrooms and spacious living areas as well as some of the most breathtaking views in Seychelles.

Dining is a delight at Le Domaine de L’Orangeraie. The open-sided ‘Combava’ restauarant, set on a raised deck beside the main pool, offers all day à la carte menus. ‘Santosha’ restaurant serves breakfast, international themed buffets and live cooking stations, as well as views to Praslin. Nightly music is offered at the ‘L’Alambic’ bar. However, the perfect place to enjoy a cocktail while capturing a magical sunset is at the infinity pool bar; relax in a sun lounger or stay in the pool and use the swim-up seats!

A spectacular spa tops the resort above the jungle-clad hillside, best reached by a buggy ride from your villa. Carefully built into the surrounding granite rocks, various treatment rooms offer stunning panoramas of the islands.

On the entertainment front there is free snorkelling equipment and free bicycle hire, guided nature walks and treks, diving and fishing on request and shopping in hotel’s boutique or in the nearby village.
